the Seattle Seahawks were not so lucky to avoid that on Thursday night against the Chicago Bears.

In the first half of the game, the starting offensive line and Geno Smith, one of the potential starters at quarterback, were on the field for Seattle.

After one offensive play, though, center Austin Blythe immediately looked over at his teammate, starting left guard Damien Lewis, and called for trainers and coaches to come onto the field.

It was a bit of a scary scene as it became clear Lewis had some sort of leg injury.

He was soon put into an aircast before being helped onto the cart and being ruled out for the game.

That’s the last thing anyone wants to see in any of these preseason games, but it’s especially troublesome for the Seahawks to lose Lewis.
